About the Role:

Corus has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Manager to lead our Trade & Affiliate marketing.  In this role, you will help grow the Corus brand and connect with marketers and partners through B2B marketing communications.  You will lead the Trade & Affiliate Marketing team, and be a key member of the Marketing Leadership team, reporting directly to the VP, Network and Multiplatform marketing. 
    

Responsibilities:

  • Owning the B2B marketing strategy for both Trade & Affiliate Marketing, you are responsible for developing an approach to marketing that helps deliver on corporate goals and accelerate growth opportunities 
  • Constantly testing, learning, and evolving the marketing mix, including events, newsletters, social, digital, PR, and sponsorships
  • Develops and leads key partner events, including the annual Upfront presentation and exclusive client events
  • Leads the free preview strategies with our distribution partners
  • Works closely with the other cross-functional teams, including Research, in-house creative, digital, media, social, and PR, for support and execution on our plans
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the organization, you will be the trusted marketing advisor, gaining alignment on our approach and plans

About You

What We Need From You:

  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience, preferably in the media industry
  • Experience managing and fostering high-performing teams
  • Exceptional experience in lateral leadership – must be able to work collaboratively and inspire and influence those throughout the organization
  • Extensive experience in event management
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
