Job Summary: The Assistant Manager, Brand Marketing is responsible for creating, executing and managing marketing communications and activities designed to grow the Amica brand and drive business results. This individual will plan and deliver internal and external communications to positively impact the brand image and work with internal members of the management team to create desired marketing materials and collaborate with agencies as required. In addition, this individual will support our Pre-Open development properties and teams with multiple projects including the branding at the development site, Presentation Center and ensuring the sales team is fully supported with materials to support the sales funnel. Furthermore, this individual will be accountable for the tracking and administration of all invoices pertaining to the Brand Marketing team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external agency partners (creative, digital, and media agencies) and lead briefing, development, and execution of campaigns/projects as required
  • Work with members of the senior management team to develop marketing and other support materials Maintain brand integrity by acting as steward of the brand and holding others accountable to brand standards
  • Oversee all Pre-Open, Development and Property signage. Includes Presentation Centers, hoarding, wayfinding, and external/monument signage. Work with third party signage partners and internal design team through all phases of development (planning through opening and beyond) as lead on all signage requirements.
  • Support day-to-day requests from Residences and Support Office
  • Manage and develop Amica branded gifts, stationary and other miscellaneous requests from Residences and support office.

  • Team and individual projects budget management
  • Receiving, verifying and reconciling invoices from vendors and suppliers.

Required Skills/Qualifications

  • Post-secondary marketing or related program
  • Experience developing marketing and media plans
  • Knowledge of and experience in the hospitality sector, seniors’ market, public health sector or private health sector
  • Experience in the use of digital and traditional media as they pertain to marketing and advertising
  • The ability to successfully contribute to projects and to work flexible hours will be considered an asset
  • Exceptional marketing, administrative, and operational capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, strong presentation skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • A self-starter and self-sufficient in the workplace – you will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve your goals
