Suzy Deering tapped as next CMO of Ford

Automaker Ford has appointed Suzy Deering as the new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) heading up all marketing efforts. Suzy will officially start in January in the role which will also include leading the brand’s customer intelligence and product and consumer marketing strategies.
“Technology will be a powerful part of Ford’s transformation and how we enhance and release the huge value of our iconic brands,” Deering said in a statement. “My team will be involved from end-to-end on behalf of customers—better connecting with them, using data to foresee and deliver what they need, and earning and keeping their trust.”
Prior to the move just over five years with eBay as their Global Chief Marketing Officer; and first joined as Chief Marketing Officer & Global Brand.
Suzy will replace Joy Falotico, who has been playing a dual role of both CMO of Ford and president of Lincoln Motor Company.
