    • Uber [TCO] has acquired food delivery service Postmates for $2.65 billion and operate independent of Uber Eats, the company lost out on its bid to acquire competitor Grubhub back in May[The Connected One – Win. When a company can diversfy their offering it is a win, especially to stockholders. Uber will control ~30% of the market share in food delivery companies (22% Uber Eats, 8% Postmates).  ]
    • Walmart [TCO] is converting 160 of its US store parking lots into drive-in movie theaters as they partner with Tribeca Enterprises, the Robert De Niro-backed media company which produces the annual Tribeca Film Festival [The Connected One – Win. Brilliant partnership opportunity as COVID-19 has forced both companies to adjust their business and there-by capping ability to general revenue but their new plan will make use to open space]
