TIFF Soiree – Kicking off the 40th annual Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Academy Award–winning actor Natalie Portman joins the party for an intimate onstage conversation about her life and career.  In addition to this special onstage conversation, guests can enjoy a spectacular party with cocktails, appetizers, and live musical entertainment.

Breitling, Birks and Shangri-La Celebrate TIFF
In a special celebration to celebrate the Toronto Film Festival’s 40th year and the Shangri-La’s third birthday, Maison Birks and the Breitling Jet Team are teaming up to throw a fabulous bash. Titled “it’s time to celebrate”, the evening is expected to be quite fabulous.

Toronto Life Best Dressed
Toronto Life releases their annual Stylebook and honours Toronto’s best and most stylish dressed people. Attended include the city’s most fashionable and  other VIPs.

Mongrel House Opening Night Party
Mongrel Media is back this year with a number of great films part of TIFF, and will be celebrating their hard work in style! The distribution is creating some big buss with their Mongrel House and events.

LA Times Headquarters at The Addisons Residence
In true Beverly Hills private residence style, the Addisons Residence will be hosting celebrities throughout the week as the LA Times set up shop at Wellington St.’s latest hot spot. Set up as a daytime lounge ideal spot for interviews with the actors, the LA Times will no doubt feel very at home. The Addisons will be open some evenings for visitors to catch up on the excitement of the festival, and will be closed for some private parties. Check their social media for more details.

Back by popular demand, brave party-goers can get inked with FREE not-so-temporary tattoos by Speakeasy Tattoo in Room 222, while Pinky’s Nails will provide custom nail art and mini-manicures for patrons wanting pampering. From body art to art installations, Krystle Tabujara debuts the Sound of Cinema, a décor installation inspired by music in film.

Nikki Beach Toronto
Nikki Beach descends onto Toronto once again as they take over the Spoke Club located on King West for their 7th consecutive year.  Nikki Beach team will transform the Spoke Club into an elegant location to celebrate all things TIFF.

Festival Street: Where Cinema Meets The Sidewalk

For the second year, TIFF takes over King Street West between Peter and University Streets, brands of all shapes and sizes get into the actions.  Restaurants located along the strip also get ready with their TIFF specials. You never know who you’ll bump into…

Artists for Peace & Justice Gala
In support of communities in Haiti, Artists for Peace and Justice creates programs in education, healthcare, and dignity through the arts. This year, they are honouring their Advisory Board Member Susan Sarandon at the Sixth Annual Artists for Peace and Justice Festival Gala. Joining Susan will be co-hosts Jane Fonda, Helen Mirren, Paul Haggis, Pascal Raffy and George Strombolopolous.

The Canadian Film Centre (CFC) will once again be hosting annual BBQ to honour Canadian film and raise funds to keep it going strong. This will be one of the best parties held during TIFF, the BBQ features the who’s who of Canadian film, media, and VIPs.

Festival Music House 2-Day Festival
Sept. 13 – 14, 2015

Back again for its sixth year, Festival Music House celebrates a great lineup of new and established Canadian musical talent to perform at the annual event.   This year the festival features Kid Koala, Half Moon Run, Keys N Krates, Barenaked Ladies, and Dear Rouge.
