Ramping up their creative efforts, Hulu [TCO] has appointed Scott Donaton to its newly-created role as Head of Creative. In the role he will be responsible for building out the brand’s in-house creative practice. He will lead the company’s multi-disciplinary in-house team dedicated to creating stories around the Hulu brand and product offerings from high-profile campaigns to in-product assets. Donaton will also help to build out and implement new advertising opportunities for Hulu brand partners. He starts in the new role on December 9th and will be based in Hulu’s Santa Monica, California headquarters.
Scott will report directly to Hulu Chief Marketing Officer Kelly Campbell. He will also work with Senior VP-Head of Advertising and Sales Peter Naylor to bring together the company’s creative across its brand and advertising verticals.
Previously he was Global Chief Creative and Content Officer at Digitas where he oversaw the agency’s creative, content, experience and production practices.
